Prof. Akin Ogundiran has been elected to the College of Fellows of the Nigerian Academy of Letters. Akin also published “Material and Knowledge Economies in the Western Lower Niger, ca. 1000-1400 CE,” in Laura Doyle, Simon Gikandi, and Mwangi Wa Githinji, eds., Dynamics of Deep Time and Deep Place: Decolonial Epistemology, Vol. 1 (Routledge, 2025). Akin’s co-authored article, “Early transatlantic movement of horses and donkeys at Jamestown.” appeared in Science Advances 11, (2025).
