Biography
Madelyn Lugli studies International History, with a specialization in modern Europe. Her dissertation explores the relationship between newly formed nation-states and emerging international ideals in the twentieth century.
Outside of the department, Madelyn participates in the interdisciplinary cluster in British Studies. Prior to attending Northwestern University, Madelyn earned her B.A. at the University of Notre Dame, where she studied History and Irish Studies.
