Biography
Julia Barr is a doctoral candidate in history studying twentieth-century Britain. Her research specifically focuses on twentieth-century social science regarding race, and its applications to policy. Before coming to Northwestern, Julia worked in non-profit consulting. She completed her B.A. in history at the University of Pennsylvania, and an MPhil in Modern British History at Cambridge, where she was a member of Trinity Hall College.
