Biography
Elsa De La Rosa is a doctoral student in History. She received her B.A. from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) in international relations. After working for several years, she decided to achieve a M.A. in International History in Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas (CIDE) and did a thesis on the discrimination of Chinese immigrants in Sonora in the 1920´s and 1930´s. Her research interests include migration studies, transnational, borderlands and social history between Mexico and the United States during the 20th century.
