Professor Susan J. Pearson wins The Order of the Coif Book Award for The Birth Certificate

The Order of the Coif Executive Committee has announced Professor Susan J. Pearson as the co-winner of the annual Book Award - for her work entitled, The Birth Certificate: An American History published by University of North Carolina Press in 2021.
About The Order of the Coif –
The Order of the Coif is the national honorary society for law school graduates. The purpose of The Order is to encourage excellence in legal education by fostering a spirit of careful study, recognizing those who attained a high grade of scholarship, and honoring those who as lawyers, judges and teachers attained high distinction for their scholarly or professional accomplishments.
