Mary Kate Robbett

Mary Kate studies nineteenth-century U.S. history, with a focus on the Civil War era. Her interests also include women's history, material culture studies, and public history. Mary Kate received her BA in American Studies at Georgetown University and her MA in Museum Studies at George Washington University. Prior to enrolling at Northwestern, she worked for the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of American History in Washington, D.C.
