Biography
Hope McCaffrey studies mid-nineteenth-century United States history with a focus on gender, race, and women’s history. Her research interests include politics and power in the antebellum and Civil War-era free states and Digital Humanities. Hope holds a B.A. in History from the George Washington University and a Master of Music degree from Portland State University.
