Conrad Hirano

Biography

Conrad Hirano is a doctoral student in History, specializing on the history of coal smoke pollution in prewar Japan. His study abroad experience in Beijing, China has inspired him to research this subject and sustained his academic passion for the past many years. Conrad earned his BA in Liberal Arts from Soka University of America (Aliso Viejo, CA) and his MA in History from Montana State University (Bozeman, Montana).
