Noa Ben Haim

Noa's research interests include the social and intellectual history of the antislavery movement with a focus on immediate abolitionists, as well as the origins of feminism, perceptions of race, intersections of race and gender, and the role of violence in antislavery thought. She did a Bachelor’s in History at Harvard and a Master’s in American History at the University of Cambridge. Her Master’s dissertation explored American women abolitionists’ approach to violence in the 1830s and ‘40s, following an examination of British influences in the 1820s.
